Flood Barrier Walls
Flood Barrier Retaining Walls - Wet Soil Mixing Techniques - Cut Off Walls

Flood Barrier Walls

Flood barrier retaining walls may be installed utilising wet soil mixing techniques in earth leveés or embankments alongside rivers. Suitable for all types of flood defence or flood alleviation schemes both our triple paddle, twin paddle and single paddle soil mixing systems mix in situ cement or cement / bentonite slurry with the existing soils to form a cut off wall within the embankment. When the river bursts it's banks or the flood occurs the soil mixed cut off wall helps to contain the water where the existing soil may have been eroded by the increased water flow.

Sheet piling can also be used as flood barrier retaining walls for flood defences. Installation can be with traditional percussive methods or by silent vibrationless systems where the environment dictates. All of our leader rigs are fitted with biodegradable oil to protect the environment from contamination.

Further information is available by downloading our flood barrier walls information sheet.
