Cofferdams
Piling Contractor Eco Foundations install cofferdams utilising in situ wet soil mixing techniques where possible and traditional methods such as sheet piling (with either vibratory or silent and vibrationless methods), contiguous piling and hard/hard secant piling as alternatives.
Cofferdams may be circular or square and can be supported in cantilever, anchored or propped all depending on ground conditions, retained height and site requirements.
Cofferdams are generally used as retaining walls for temporary or permanent works. When a cofferdam is installed with sheet piling for temporary works the sheet piles may be extracted at a later date which reduces costs.
