Sheet Piled Retaining Wall Installed in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
Eco Foundations have recently installed a sheet piled retaining wall in the Gloucestershire village of Birdlip nr Cheltenham. The sheet piles were driven using a telescopic leader rig to a depth of 9 m for a retained height of 6 m utilising ground anchors installed at an angle of 45 degrees. Access to the site was particularly difficult but with good organisation the job was carried out without disruption or delay.
